Cann Compounding-backed research highlights potential of medicinal cannabis for chronic pain, anxiety and PTSD
Cann Compounding is proud to share the results of new Australian research examining the real-world effectiveness and safety of medicinal cannabis for patients living with chronic pain, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The 12-month Project Twenty21 Australia study, published in Drug Science, Policy and Law, followed 522 patients receiving medicinal cannabis treatment in Australian clinical practice. The study found significant improvements in pain severity, sleep, mood and perceived overall health across the patient groups studied.
As part of its involvement in the research, Cann Compounding supplied CANNC CBD3000 and CANNC CBD5000, high-CBD oil products derived from the cannabis cultivars Charlotte's Web and Charlotte's Angel. Compounded exclusively by Cann Compounding, the CANNC oils were the only strain-specific oils included in the study.
